Icons of Aussie Surf Rock

Skegss have grown from laid-back coastal beginnings into one of Australia’s most recognisable modern rock bands. Built around raw guitars, big hooks and an unmistakable sense of youthful energy, the band earned a loyal following through relentless touring, packed festival sets and releases that captured the chaos, humour and uncertainty of growing up.

‍
Their debut album My Own Mess reached #2 on the ARIA Albums Chart and earned an ARIA nomination for Best Rock Album, while follow-up Rehearsal debuted at #1 on the ARIA Albums and Vinyl charts. Recorded with Grammy-winning producer Catherine Marks, Rehearsal pushed the band’s sound forward without losing the loose, direct spirit that made Skegss such a defining presence in Australia’s coastal rock scene.
